  1. Thank you for you response. I guess what I am saying, is that while a transglutaminase may be a false positive for celiac, but be a real positive for crohns. I only found a couple of sites, but it seems it is the norm, as I read to have a weak or moderate positive transglutaminase with crohn's . Does anyone know if this is correct? Open Original Shared...
  2. I was diagnosed with Celiac a few weeks ago. My IgA was moderately postive and my IgG was negative. I went gluten free for the week before my endoscopy and the result was negative. He said I might have Crohn's and I will have a colonoscopy next week. I was reading that transglutaminase was also present in inflammatory bowel disease and that most false positives...

My memory declined...

  7. according to some websites, there may be a link. So I asked to have him tested.
  8. Thank you for responding. I have decided to go ahead with the test, just to see if they find that are anything else and then go on the diet again immediately for several weeks and if some of the symptoms leave, then that is good enough for me. Slight nausea again today after eating yesterday. Will also get my son's results. As he was tested for it because...
  9. I have been diagnosed with IBS diarrhea for 8 years, Over the last 4 months, I have gotten much worse, constant nausea without vomiting, more fatigue, diarrhea, bloating and more pronounced irritabilty and forgetfulness. Asked for more tests and was given a TISSUE TRANSGLUTAMINASE IGA, IGG, TISSUE TRANSGLUTAMINASE IgG 0.15 <0.90 - Index Tissue...
