Does anyone know how you tell if your spices are gluten-free? My nutritionist says that any powdered form of a spice is suspect, because often wheat is used to keep it from clumping. None of my powdered spices (chili powder, garlic powder, etc.) says it has wheat --but then labeling isn't all that great, as we all know. My nutritionist says that ironically... -

Last night I made the enchilada sauce recipe at this site. It was SO yummy. I put it on bean enchiladas. Everything was gluten-free, except less than 1 percent of the chicken broth had wheat in it. Hi, I was widowed young, 1 1/2 years ago, at 37. I'm now 38 and just as I was finding out that I have genes for celiac, as well as soy and dairy intolerance -- I met a nice fellow here in Atlanta, where I live.
