    Thanks for the input nmlove. One plus is our daughter is so young that she hasn't been on regular foods much at all, we're in the process of transitioning her from baby foods to regular foods, so if she does have to go gluten free, then hopefully she'll never have that much of a taste for gluten type products.     I would think any low carb style diet would be fairly easy (South Beach, Atkins, etc), as they cut way back on all forms of carbs, and gluten containing foods are loaded with carbs. But any diet that allows you to choose the food should be fine. It would seem that those that you purchase their food is where the biggest problem would lie, as then you...

    It's got to be tricky when dealing with family and any type of sickness or allergy. I'm glad that my mother-in-law is really good at not assuming that she knows the answers from when she raised my wife. That's a big, big help, except she almost goes the other way.     We'll be going to a pediatric gastroenterologist in about a month for our (then) 15 month old. She's had a blood test that may indicate celiac. We're preparing questions, but are interested in ideas to be prepared to ask the doctor. Any ideas? Thanks.

    Thanks kareng... we're up near Claycomo, so I was visiting the new Liberty Hy-Vee. I've heard that some of the Hy-Vee's have especially big sections. The Liberty store is less than a year old, and does have a pretty good section, but of course, I have no way to compare... We'll be interested in suggestions, especially once we get a firm diagnosis...

    Thanks for the input, we really appreciate it. It's a little weird that my wife and I don't know anyone in either family that has celiac. But that doesn't mean she doesn't have it.
