  1. I am in the same boat you are, I've only been gluten free for about a month now, and although the stomach pains have become less common I'm still tired all the time. We just gotta stick with it and keep in mind that we are healing and its only a matter of time before we feel good again. If you ever need anyone to talk to feel free to PM me
  2. Thank you all for your replys, I'm going to find a good artist to draw me something out. This isn't my first tattoo, I've been wanting another one for a while but just wasn't sure what to get. I didn't want to just get something random I wanted something that had meaning behind it. and thanks for all your safety concerns, no worries there though I will only...
  3. I absolutely love that idea! I think that is what I'm going to go with. I know that all tattoos sag with age but I would never get a tattoo that I can't cover up if I need to.
  4. Being diagnosed was a life changing moment for me and I want to get a tattoo to symbolize getting better and feeling better. I have no idea what to get or where I was thinking maybe getting it somewhere on my back or side. Any ideas?
  5. I was diagnosed last year with celiacs but ignored the diet up until about 3 weeks ago. When they called with the test results (I had a blood test) she didn't say anything about going to a GI doctor, but I see that a lot of you on here have seen one. Should I still go and see one? Would I really need a biopsy even though I already know I have it?
  6. After my blood test my nurse called me and told me I test positive for celiacs disease, of course I asked her what that meant. She explained briefly, and then that was it. I was on my own. That's probably the reason I tried to ignore my disease for a year. She didn't stress how harmful gluten was to my body
  7. You are definitely not alone I was diagnosed about a year ago at 18yrs old after going to the doctor for having stomach problems every morning (and throughout the day some days) I haven't had a morning that my stomach didn't hurt since I was about 12-13. I had been to previous doctors who told me i had acid reflux and gave me a prescription that of course...
  8. Thanks for the advice I'll definitely look into those drinks. and aedixon I noticed that your from nashville, I am too. Whats a good store around here to buy gluten free food?
  9. I recently went gluten free after being diagnosed and am rapidly losing weight. I used to eat a bunch of junk food before, but I was blessed with a fast metabolism so I was still pretty small 5'3 about 100-105lbs. I really cannot afford to lose weight I can see my ribs more and more. What are some safe foods I can eat that would help me put on some weight...
