  10. If you think you have Celiac go gluten free right away you don't want to cause any more damage. What tests did you have done and what were the results? What are your symptoms? My partner was semi supporting until he heard it from the doctor himself that eating gluten can cause me more damage and money than going gluten free.
  11. I just didn't think a two week diet would make a drop like that, I guess I am now diagnosed for sure, it's just hard getting this to my head
  12. I haven't because they told me that there is nothing anyone can do for me until I get my TTG to normal levels, but oh men is it hard loosing all that hair I would think that this is definitely Celiac like, and if you feel better not eating gluten than I would use that as a diagnosis, and I wouldn't want to gluten myself either especially if I was feeling...

  14. I am so sorry to hear about you problems, but congrats on the exercise. I was determined to loose weight in June, I lost 50lbs in 13 weeks, and starting feeling horrible out of nowhere. I had no energy, I could barely get out of bed. I lost about 60% of my hair from July till now. I have to tell you that everyone was telling me its because of the exercise...

  19. If I was to start eating gluten again now after being off of it for a week, and I was to get a blood test tomorrow would the results be accurate? If I was to get a biopsy in lets say a week and I was off gluten for a week and then started back up and was on it for a week would it be accurate? I am just so confused with all of this!
  20. Yes he said that women often have low vitamin d and he said that my ferratin is okey, my GI said that I should supplement with vitamin d and iron because that's often the result of celiac. I'm not sure if I'm seeing anything different just yet especially with the hair but I'm determined to make this work
  21. On the 11th of November my primary doctor told me my result numbers as IGA 56 over 17 is positive and my TTG 117 over 20 positive. He ordered some more tests and told me he can't tell me anything until the others come back and that labs sometimes make mistakes and therefore we can't relay on just these results, I researched on my own and it brought me...
  22. I was diagnosed with Celiac a little over a week ago, after going to doctors for over 4 months asking why my hair has been falling out. My blood tests came back positive for Celiac and my GI decided that since my sister has Celiac diagnosed through a biopsy there is no need for a endoscopy because either way he will tell me to go gluten free. My...
  23. I was diagnosed with Celiac through a blood test last week, since my sister has Celiac and was diagnosed through endoscopy they told me that either way I will have to go gluten free so I decided not to do the endoscopy and repeat the blood test again later to make sure my IGA and TTG antibodies are going down. My mom doesn't understand that even a little...
