    I have celiac disease and I am a diabetic. I am tired of trying figure out what to eat and what to feed everyone. Does anyone else out there have diabeties? If so, how do you deal with it and what do you do?

    Stacie, I am confused about the meetings. The reminder you just sent me was it for the one that is suppose to be at Gwinnett Medical Center or is this a different one but on the smae day?     Stacie and Ann, The support meeting at Gwinnett Medical Center is this Sat. March 13th in the Educational department. As far as I can tell the meeting starts at 10:00.     My daughter is 18 and she was told she had vaginal herpes. She had blood tests and they came back that is wasn't herpes. It may have been the cold sore type. I wonder is this was DH.     VAGUy, I buy a pizza crust at the Peachtree Natural Foods here in Georgia. IT comes in a big box with 2 crusts in the box. I then take it to Little Ceasars and they cook it in their pizza oven for me. I ask them to please wash the pan first for contamination reasons.     Hormel told me that most of their products are gluten free and if not it will say on the product that it has wheat in it . I would trust Hormel

    Alexa, I do know that all the modified food starch made from corn are safe. You hve to call and ask the company what the source is. They will tell you. Hormel told me that most of their MFS is from corn. If it isn't it will be labeled as such. I know that MFS is in almost everything.     Hey guys you are not alone...why down here in Atlanta there is me and I am 150 lbs over weight. I am also diabetic and have been trying to lose weight on weight watchers for 2 yrs now.     Does anyone know of a good dr. in the atlanta area that really understands celiac and the diet ? My dr. just say " just follow the diet" looks to me like he has never had to do this diet.
