  1. I love Gltuen Free, Hassle Free or Carol Fenster's 1000 Best Gluten free Recipes
  2. You get the liver transplant one day, you do good on the diet, and in ten years, you are still around, seeing your kids grow up and I must say that by then, being gluten free will be MUCH easier!
  3. Same for me. I know for sure when my stomach starts to twist.

Yes, they are wonderful! I worked there several years ago and now dine there often! They burn out the woks before cooking your meal to avoid cross contamination, and they put your food on a special plate so that you know it was prepared special for you! Wonderful experience every time!
  5. Yes, I did have others at the table. I can take extreme precautions for myself but I cannot always ask every person around me to make sure that their food is gluten free, as I am not sharing with them. 9. This is also my first Christmas as a diagnosed Celiac. Thanksgiving was somewhat of a nightmare for me, so I understand. I have learned that you should never feel pressured to eat something just to avoid explaining. It's not worth it. Take care of yourself first, and have a good trip!
  10. Thank you! I may be coming to you quite a bit! My mother in law just asked about Velveeta and cheez whiz!
  11. I was diagnosed with Celiac disease recently, and I my world has been turned around, to say the least! I have had a barrage of questions from friends and family and sometimes get quite overwhelmed, especially since the holidays are in full swing. I would love some ideas for side dishes for Christmas dinner, as well as good books, other recipes, etc. Thanks...
