I had Pad Thai....Mmmmm!! I got the recipe from "Looneyspoons", and it was spectacularly gluten-free without any modifications needed, aside from using gluten-free soya sauce! YUM!!

About 6 years ago I had a positive blood test for Celiac.......They told me to start a gluten-free diet, which I did, and then they did a biopsy while I was gluten-free, had been for a month (Wish I'd known better!!!), and of course, it was negative. Fast forward to the past two years, I've had severe GI issues, and they decided to test again for celiac....

Great advice, thanks everyone! I NEVER would have thought to wash down the handles to cupboards I would have touched while baking! I also washed the outside of sugar, etc. containers....I never would have used a measuring cup in the container, but again, who's to say I didn't touch it with a gluteny hand! Well, The Tissue Transglutaminase Ab IgA was 8....Within normal range it seems? I think i'm going to talk to my doc though about doing a gluten challenge, and then running a total celiac screen....Which tests would you recommend? I don't even know which one it was that came back positive in the past, I need to get all my medical history from my old GP's office...

I think that I will just continue with the gluten-free diet, and if it helps, leave it at that.....My Dr. is willing to give me the dx. without positive biopsy, and I'd just rather not go through that again! I will likely see if I can get the actual pathology report though, and possibly a second opinion on the slides. Funny.....
