    I have changed over much of my kitchen since my dx of Celiac. I have a Kitchen Aid mixer that I have had for many years. I am afraid to use it due to the possibility of cross contamination issues. The bowl and attachments are stainless steel and I know they can be sanitized but I'm concerned about the flour getting into the mechanism, such as where the attachments...

    I was just dx with both Celiac Disease and Crohns on the same day. The dr told me they don't know of a def correlation but would not surprise him if the Celiac got so bad that it triggered the Crohns. However no way to tell. Balancing the two is going to be challenging but I will find a way. Long road ahead for me!

    I just found out about myself just a week ago and feel overwhelmed. My symptoms are more abdominal pain so I can't imagine how you feel. All I can say is that I'm going to look at this as a new opportunity to finally get healthy for life. I hope you get the support you need and find a way to put a positive spin on it.     Thank you all for the responses. Makes me feel better knowing I'm doing what's right for my health. My family is wonderful but they don't understand just how I'll it makes me feel. I hope they never do! Thanks for the coconut oil info. I will look into that.

    Just got diagnosed a week ago and doing my best to live gluten free. So much to learn! I was also dx with crohns at the same time which throws another wrench in my food as I have to eat bland foods, no fresh fruit or vegies right now either. Eventually as my crohns symptoms heal I'll be able to add food. However, right now it's frustrating. Getting pretty...

    I just had the endo done 2 weeks ago. It was a breeze! My test came back positive for Celiac disease. Good luck!
