Hi everyone, I did get tested two days ago - waiting for the results. But I don't think my doctor ordered the full panel - only antigliadin IgA and tTg IgA - is this enough? I have been reading all over this board about how inconclusive testing can be, given the issue of extent of villous damage. I also see how people end up turning to Enterolab but how to interpret those... -

I was misinformed the first time I called Columbia - I now have an appointment with Dr. Lee at the Celiac Disease Center in a couple of weeks for the diagnostic workup. Thanks for all the input.

Well I called up Columbia today and they provide services post-diagnosis only. Can any doctor make the referral for the bloodwork? Are they knowledgeable enough about celiac disease to know which tests to order?

Thanks! I had seen some of these posts but not all. I will try calling the CDC at Columbia again but was wondering if there was someone that could recommend a specific GI doctor besides Peter Green at CDCwho I would love to consult of course, but unfortunately cannot afford. I have just begun suspecting gluten insensitivity/celiac disease for myriad health-related problems. I was wondering what sort of a doctor I should look for to help with the diagnosis.
