I know this thread is very old, but the chef of Bazin's in Vienna was just diagnosed with celiac, and Bazin's now has a gluten free menu that I would completely trust. It's expensive, but worth it for the safety. -

Thank you for your replies. I'm very uncomfortable in restaurants, but maybe I'll scope around this forum a bit and see where people are comfortable eating out. I really miss being spontaneous.
