My dd is now casein and gluten free. She never had constipation, blood in her stool, etc. but the loose, light colored stools continued even after stopping the gluten. We received our daughter's Enterolab results last night and are still completely overwhelmed. What do the results mean when she is sensitive to gluten and casein yet does not have malabsorption issues? Is it just that there hasn't been a lot of damage to her intestines yet? We just got our 23 month old daughter's results back tonight from Enterolab. Her numbers are quite a bit higher than your daughters plus we have a milk sensitivity to deal with as well. Anyway, how long has your dd been gluten-free? Ours was only gluten-free for 2 1/2 weeks before we sent the tests in so I am wondering if that has any bearing on the results... -
How often do gluten-sensitive persons or Celiacs have sensitivities to dairy products? We have now started our 22 month old daughter on gluten-free (not as difficult as I thought it would be! ) and are wondering if we should consider dairy free as well if things don't change solely on gluten-free.
