    To All, I was curious when DH became associated with Celiac disease in the research and found that it happened around 1967. But I was also surprised to find DH was being treated as DH without connection to Celiac disease 20+ years before that date.     Laura90, That is good to hear ...if your energy levels don't pick up soon try some Magnesium Glycinate. Magnesium is important for our bodies to make energy.     GFinDC, I don't think a 1000 IU a day is enough to get you in trouble....I have done the same thing. My specialist is now retesting my Vitamin D levels to see if it is back at normal levels. ...I am curious to see if it has done the trick.     Trents, I am not up on this topic either but according to the article. . . "Patients with less than 20 percent of the abnormal lymphocytes have Type I refractory celiac disease, and those with more than 20 percent, Type II" If you don't have abnormal lympocytes then you are just a "non-responsive" celiac. but I think like you it is fascinating...

    Sueps, The dry eyes might be helped by taking Vitamin D. It is one of the Vitamin/Minerals that can become low while taking acid reducers.
