Trents, If you are having Arithritis pain ...I highly recommend Vitamin D and Magnesium Glycinate/Citrate. I had creaking bones in my late 20s and early 30's and taking Magnesium really helped my achy bones. Also research (google) as Notme! established we all have it these days! William Kaufman and Arthritis ...it will take 3 to 4 months...

Notme!, It is true I have been working on my farmers tan... a little in between showers. I have had hunches before (intuition) ....but they are only that anecdotally unsubstantiated reports. I have told my personal story many times...but because of other moderators advised me I needed to substantiate my experience (story) etc. ...like Knitty...

Trents, are you taking aspirin???it might be causing stomach bleeding...and why I stay away from it. I feel your concern...I had the same thing happen a few years ago...and my stool was only clay colored. ..if it (stool) is black ...definitely follow up quickly with your doctor. my bleeding went away as mysteriously as it appeared ... good...

trents and notme!, I have been in the hay field and haven't had time to keep up ..in between rain showers ...it creates twice the work but I saw your comment about histamine build up. So I will try and be brief...leftovers can trigger/cause a histamine cascade triggered by the tyramine content of the foods.. here is a nice overview of the tyramine...

Cyclinglady, There is an overlap of GERD symptom's in people who develop hives? Who knows if they are related or only associated conditions... Here is actually a current study about it. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6245739/ Have you tried taking some Vitamin D or having your Vitamin D levels checked... Taking...

Trents, You might not be able to get a true pH number now that you are taking PPIs....official tests require you to be off PPIs for approx. 4 days or more ...this will cause horrible hypersecretion the 2nd day and why people get "locked in". ...the official test is a heidelbel capsule test. the dr. jockers article tells you of a couple of home remedies...

Cyclinglady and Trents, Your experience is very similar to what the research shows. From this link on "acid suppression and allergic reactions" and why I posted it so other's could read it and ponder whether their acid reducers are contributing to their allergic reactions. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5464390/ quoting ...

Ennis_Tx, The way PPIs effect the pancreas is reduction in secrtin release. this in turn effects how the pancreas functions. ..see figure 1 in the above research. transitioning to H2 blockers could help your pancreas issues. ...I know it will not be easy but the HHMI research explains why it might be necessary. https://www.hhmi.org/news...

Trents, We have specific enzymes for these protein's. You should really try and transition to H2 blockers if you can. There is a lawsuit for Nexium ...you might want to look into it. https://www.drugwatcher.org/nexium-lawsuits/ the reason I quoted the earlier research it specifically mentions how PPIs physiologically changes your...

Healthysquirrel, Thank you for letting us know you are doing better. If you think it is Meniere's be sure to have them check your Vitamin D levels. Also try and do the Epley maneuver's at home. Here is some article's about this topic and how they can help either BBPV ( differential diagnosis of vertigo) and/or Meniere's due to inner... -
Trents (and) Ennis_Tx, I sure hope you can get off the PPIs ...long(er) term they are horrible. The step down method usually works in 6 months ...Ennis_tx has now switched from PPIs to H2 blockers ...he might be able to give you good advice. You might try some Glutamine and Turmeric also to see if it helps your GI problems...I am currently...

Ennis_Tx, You might try some turmeric ..I ran across this recently after celic.com featured an article on turmeric. https://mentalhealthdaily.com/2015/12/16/curcumin-for-depression-an-effective-treatment/ I have been trying it my blood sugar problems lately... and turmeric with 95% curcuminoids seem to work well. But I can't say if it...

Trents, Foam in vomit ...is not necessarily unusual it is usually from bile which emulsifies our fats but Saponins can do it too. see this nice wisegeek article about when to be worried about foam/bubbles in your vomit comet. https://www.wisegeek.com/what-can-cause-vomiting-foam.htm it is actually a little more serious for dogs than humans...

Trents, I haven't had your problem(s) lately ....but I did see a pattern in your food choices. They all have Trypsin Inhibitors? ...the trypsin can trick your body into believing you have just ate gluten ...from what I understand. .. and they may also have some content of saponins (especially Quinoa considered an antinutrient) like Phytic acid...

Crispy Chick, Have you looked into Sjorgens disease? Posterboy replied to Ruby 8's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
Ruby8, I didn't have Chron's either ..but I have had friends who have had it. I find I am always doing research for others ... and you find when you look...often new(er) research has not worked it's way down to a clinical level. It can take 10 or 15 years for clinician's office to incorporate new research. Taking Niacin or Niacin(amide... -
Immunological scarring from celiac disease
Posterboy replied to cyclinglady's topic in Related Issues & Disorders
cyclinglady, I think I did see that research...I can't remember if the original research said when this scarring took place....if I remember correctly it was at one year ...which I don't consider permanent. Most refractory celiac disease is not considered permentantly scarred till the 2nd year or more. that reminds me of...new research recently... -
Edgymama, I think you need to have your stomach acid checked. many of the symptom's of GERD/heartburn are mistakenly caused by low stomach acid instead of high stomach acid. if taking betaineHCL with meals helps your symptom's of acid reflux you have found your cause....for your acid reflux. always take it (BetaineHCL) with a couple glasses...

Hooperman, If stress is your main problem try drinking some Holy Basil tea. Here is an article about it. https://vitanetonline.com/forums/1/Thread/394 I used to drink it myself for my morning tea...but when I found when my stress(ors) got better in my life I found I didn't need it as much. But Holy Basil has a known calming effect...

Posterboy replied to Olivia28's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
Olivia28, I think they have all given you good advice... and we are all different. ..some had biopsy proven celiac and some of us was diagnosed by high blood serology alone (me).
