Currently, I am looking for people with celiac disease in the Bluffton, Hilton Head, Beaufort, Lady's Island, etc area of South Carolina... to help me start a support / awareness group. -S

i haven't been to one of those meetings, but i plan on going to one to see how they are.

every even number month.... at roper hospital on the 3rd monday ... of every month... so the third monday in december is when the next meeting is. just giving you a heads up.

I don't feel sorry for myself, It's just interaction and going out for meals with friends [i am a college student] so sometimes they want to get pizza from X pizza parlor...where they dine in...nothing for me to eat yarr...but a coke is nice... I just figured out I can have that :-)... yay... so nothing will hold me back now. -eye

maybe we should start one @ Whole Foods in Mt. Pleasant since they have a lot of gluten-free items.

do you know about what alcohols you can have? like brands?

i know the feeling too, it's cut down on my social life...too...eating at friends' houses...errr or going out to eat with friends... i mean i mainly eat at home now... now i am lonely too...i know the feeling... anyone from sc or ga here?

I do agree Strongbow is a good beverage!!!! I just have started the gluten-free diet, and man I am happy to hear that Strongbow is gluten-free...YAY! Man I love Strongbow too!!!!!! Is WoodChuck also gluten-free??
