  1. Just a heads up people. I went to Outback where I live in Missouri and asked for my usual "gluten free menu." The server stated that the menus were recalled and were being redone. Evidently someone became ill and they are having to relook at some of their items. As far as salad dressings the server stated that only the oil and vinegar dressing could be guaranteed...

  4. My pain has always come from the right side, however, I hurt right below the ribs on that side. It pulsates when it is really bad and feels like a "hot knife". It will also radiate over to my side/back. If I stay on my diet, it is much better, however it is still sore as I am in the healing stage.
  5. I was shopping the other day when it hit me...I can't have corn dogs. Not, that I ate them much, but nevertheless, I grieved.
  6. Your not alone. I was diagnosed over a month ago and had the same problem. My doctor prescribed me a prescription antihistimine that worked but made me tired. I don't have any itching problems now. It could be a detoxing response from getting off of gluten...or not. Hope you feel better.

  8. I am a new Celiac and am getting ready to return to work after being on medical leave. As a newbie, I was wondering what ya'll like to take to eat for lunch. I used to eat out everyday. I am looking for gluten-free lunch ideas. Thanks and happy lunching!

  11. Two thumbs down to all the commercials on tv constantly reminding me of what i can't eat (Pizza Hut, KFC).
  12. Hello all! I have recently been diagnosed as having celiac. I have been itching daily but I do not have a rash. Anyone had similar troubles? My doctor suggested taking Benedryl to take the edge off. Thanks, and y'all have been so helpful already.
