  2. I was just diagnosed in December too. I feel like my cycle has been affected by being gluten-free. My period came when expected the first month but was much heavier than usual. Maybe just a coincidence. I guess time will tell.
  3. I was just diagnosed too! I have been gluten free for 12 days. On day 3 I attended a birthday party for my niece and the only food I could eat was an orange! Luckily I did eat before I went.   5. Thank you for all the replies. I did check out the Newbie section and it is very helpful. I am not going low carb, I couldn't handle doing both at once, but I will keep my eye on how many carbs I am eating to be sure I am not accidentally getting too low. Hopefully once my body adjusts I will feel better... I was eating way more gluten than I realized...
