I was diagnosed with DH in 2015 - had a positive punch biopsy of lesion on knee. I have been gluten-free (and have not cheated) since then but a recent endoscopy showed that I still have mild villous blunting/atrophy and increased intraepithelial lymphocytes. Everything I've read says that the villi should return to normal 6 mo- 2 years after starting gluten...

I make sure my omeprazole is from Apotec Pharmaceuticals. It's what our Weis Pharmacy normally uses, so it's not a problem. I had to find Methimazole (for hyperthyroidism) and Weis was able to get it from Heritage Pharmaceuticals, after I called a half-dozen places to try to find a gluten-free variety. Good luck!
