I had my gallbladder removed and was never the same after surgery. I attributed the stomach issues to post-surgery even though doctors said that was not normal. It took 7 years after gallbladder surgery to finally be diagnosed with celiac. I absolutely believe my celiac was triggered by surgery. Looking back I would have tried some alternatives to gallbladder...

I ate some Godiva chocolates today and tonight I am sick. I am usually super careful about what I eat. I did read the label and there were no gluten ingredients. But I didn't google it to check. The website says that people who are sensitive to gluten should avoid all their products. Lesson learned!
