  1. I'm not super active on this forum but I lurk CONSTANTLY when I need good advice for new foods. I'm always scrolling down google until I see (celiac.com) and I click it right away to get real world experience for these foods. Labeling only means so much. So here I am... Tired of ciders. I need some real world experience on beers. I know of the more popular...
  2. I'm so freaking jealous! I wanted to pre order the Nima so bad but it's just too much money for me right now. Moving across the entire country, getting married, and have a bad fishing habit! Ugh! The Nima would make it SO EASY at family events to eat food without hassling grandma or cousin about what brand they used or whatever. Everyone is so ignorant...
  3. I don't know if the rest of you struggle as bad as I do when it comes to finding a pain reliever that's actually LABELED or guaranteed to be gluten free like I do, but... It hasn't been easy. Basically, every time I look online at a specific drug, it always says that it's not guaranteed or it USED TO BE or it CAN BE if bought at Walgreens but not if...
  4. I'm not exactly sure what I have. I don't exactly have strong symptoms of celiac but I do have them. The primary symptoms I get when ingesting gluten is numbness, tingling, insomnia, clouded head, and lack of focus in my vision. It all seems very neurological to me. Not to say that I don't have celiac though, because I will get a minor stomach ache and...
  5. I'm not around here much because I have my symptoms all under control and I live a normal (but gluten free) life. The only time I come around really is to check if certain foods are safe for me or not. That being said, I felt I should make this post to help others with my findings. Hopefully someone else that's struggled like I have with canker sores...
  6. Holy. Lots of big words there! Yeah. I don't want to do the tests if they require me to have to do that to myself. My dad simply put it this way... "If you don't eat gluten and you don't get any symptoms... Then stop eating gluten. No need for a doctor to tell you what you already know." Does NCGI still cause the same problems Celiac does later in life...
  7. Hello, I have turned myself away from writing this post for several months now because someone may give me too much information and I will, will, have a panic attack lol. I am going to give you a brief (or maybe not so brief) description of my story, my symptoms, and my conclusion, and I sincerely hope somebody doesn't come in here telling me...
