    Thanks for the reply. I believe this class will be a dud too.... I met with the teacher and the school about what what daughter can and can't have. She is pretty knowledgeable about reading ingredients but sometimes I catch her not paying attention to what she has touched and then not washing her hands afterwards... I might need to take her...

    I honestly feel like both doctors think it's all in my head even though there is proof. Yeah there was a point when I felt crazy.     I'm sure going to have a long talk with my doctor. Then I'll find a new one that will support me and make sure that my daughter and I both have the proper testing done yearly.

    I thought I would update you all. I started to eat gluten shortly after this post. I was miserable by the time I had my EGD. The doctor gave a diagnosis after the EGD was completed, duodenitis, gastritis and hiatal hernia. I had abnormal mucosa of the whole stomach and severe inflammation.     Has anyone ever heard of biopsy staining for those that have been on a gluten free diet? My doctor recommend this to me since I have been been on a very restrictive gluten-free diet for 2 years. The past 4 months I have been completely gluten-free since my daughter was diagnosed with celiac disease. The full blood panel came back negative and the doctor...

    Thank you for the info... I usually cook at home. Our small town doesn't really offer many decent places to eat. The past few weeks have been a little difficult since we have been on vacation and this weekend we will be traveling out of town too. Our cooler has been our bestfriend.     My daughter was recently diagnosed with Celiac Disease. We are still learning all the names for gluten. I've noticed that some items state they have Dextrose in them. If a company says it's Gluten Free but has Dextrose in the ingredients am I to assume that this is Dextrose in the form of corn and not wheat?
