  1. Hi Laura..............I'm experimenting with bread recipes also, and I noticed this one that you posted only has 1/2 C potato starch and 1C cornstarch. Is this correct? It seems like alot of cornstarch, but I'm pretty new at this. Thanks!!
  2. I recently purchased the new Cuisinart Bread Machine. It has a special setting for "Gluten Free" as well as "Low Carb". I made one of the recipes and the bread weighs about 12 lbs. Tastes like a brick. I think I forgot to warm the milk before putting it in. Otherwise, it has a nice recipe book, but it asks for many different flours and a lot of cornstarch...

Thanks for the reply...............I've been on this diet for about 10 days and because I don't have immediate consequences, i.e., gastric stuff, etc., I'm having a difficult time rationalizing this diet. I went to a gluten free store today and purchased a bunch of stuff. Everything is so darned expensive! Yikes I'm not feeling much different than...
