I have noticed the prices on gluten free items is a bit steep, therefore, I have not tried gluten free beer. Has anyone? If so, what are some good brands to look for

I have no physical symptoms but am anemic. My doctor wanted me to have a colonoscopy because he thought I was loosing blood someplace and perhaps I had bleeders. Testing was negative so he then said perhaps a stomach ulcer and I had an endoscope. The doctor's nurse called me June 1 and said I had celiac disease and to go on gluten free diet immediately... -

I was just diagnosed June 1 with silent celiac. I have no physical symptoms but do have anemia and osteoporosis. My body apparently cannot absorb the vitamins and minerals. I was diagnosed with silent celiac disease 2 days ago. I am 58 and have no idea how long I have had it. I have always been anemic and was diagnosed with osteopenia when I was 50. My question, does anyone have experience with this. I am hopeful to see improvement in both conditions but don't know how long it takes. -
I am the same. Anemia and osteoporosis. Good to hear the anemia improved. How about the osteoporosis? Did you ever take any medicine? I tried evista for 4 months and had a bad reaction. Next I tried Boniva for 4 mo this and had a reaction. I then stopped and haven't taken anything. I am curious if the malabsorption would have prevented the osteoporosis...

I am on Day 2 of being diagnosed with silent celiac disease. I have no physical symptoms. My body does not absorb iron and calcium. My question, I am committed to a fund raiser chicken barbecue and am wondering if the chicken will be okay if I don't eat the skin.
