    Hi Valerie! It is very overwhelming in the begining-but it gets much better. This board is such a great resource. Not only have I found the knowledge to start a new life but I found an amazing support group who are always here to help me. I hope this helps a little.

    Alright folks I am officially with Comcast! Verizon told me this morning that maybe they could get the DSL on at earliest 2/10...Bull!!!! I am getting my DSL activated through Comcast tonight!!!! so exciting!

    Morning Sillies still no DSL here so another weekend without you guys. I was to a Superbowl party last night. It was a lot of fun. Now I am back at work.     Happy Birthday Queen!!!! I am sitting at my desk at work in my jeans today! My boss is a big Steelers fan and she said as long as we wore either a gold or black top we could wear jeans today.     John informed me at lunch today that there is a litter of kittens living under my back porch.....tis may explain the constant meowing that lucky does around the house for no reason! John says they are little furry little things like Lucky with the big poof tails! Maybe we can keep one....but certainly not all. I am hoping to get pics tonight.

    Well we had the big re-freeze over night--luckily no more precipitation though. All the roads were still slick and icy this morning- especially back roads leading to main roads. It took John about an hour to shovel the walk in front of the house, our parking spot, and then his car out. Since the snow had fallen and then about an inch of ice fell over it....

    Alright- so if the ice that fell all morning was not enough than it turned to rain and slushed things up.....tonight the temp is going to dip to 24....and then everything will be iced over again! I can't wait till spring till we get a driveway put in...the parking on street scares me during the winter....

    We have to shovel when we get home....5 inches with a thick heavy coating of ice on top....not looking forward to it....but John is doing it while I go in and make chicken scampi!
