Vincent, Activated Carbon is used in a number of military applications including air scrubbing i.e. oxygen rebreathers and submarine air purifiers. I personally have never heard of reactions to it other than you do not want to breathe in the charcoal into your lungs. Everyone else, enjoy the weekend. I am out of my office. Picard -

Morning???? It is now early afternoon. As for the coven of people chantig, well it could be us hoping for positive results for Rachel. Rachel, I hope you know I am only joking around about the movie references. Have you seen Rosemary's Baby (1968)? Oh heck, have you seen Alien (1979)? Now, Rosemary's Baby was before my time, but I have seen... -

I believe Poland refers to Poland Spring Water. It is popular in the Northeast as it is a "Product of Maine". -

Ok, now the only thing that comes straight to mind is Sigourney Weaver in Alien. Or maybe Sissy Spacek in Rosemary's Baby. I have to pay the bills. -

Evie - Outstanding 60 years. So good morning to all. I leave for the night and come back to a long string of notes. I too like the rain, indoor activities can be fun. However, we have had constant consistent rain now for weeks. Typically, nice during the week and rainy on the weekend. We have to check off for a little while, need to... -

Not sure about the humidity level, I have been in an office all day working. But I am just happy about the temps. No problem on the laughs, I knew you thinking of the alcohol reference. -

Sorry, to clarify, my mother passed away due to complications of Lupus and Fibromyalgia. So, I am too familar with the destructive nature of those two combined. On a lighter note, it in the high 90's here after weeks of rain. -

Multi lingual - good trait. Homework! Somehow, I feel really old. I have not done homework in years, unless of course you count bringing work from the office home, then it's a nightly occurence. I cannot spell today. -

Interesting, now are leaky gut and celiac disease always linked or can you have one without the other. FYI, Fibromyalgia was one of the dieases my mother suffered from and Lupus. Talk about being spacey for the past couple of days, I forgot, yesterday marked twelve years of being with my wife. Wow! No I did not forget our anniversary before someone... -

Vincent, Floridian, dlp and everyone else, Thank you. I cannot say that I was overly close to the young man, but he was a friend and someone I have known for the past 5-6 years. His passing really puts some problems into perspective. Picard -

Floridian, Thanks, I agree this board helps out a lot. I am really taken back by the whole thing. In any case, got to get some work done this morning. Picard -
Anyone know of Doc in CT that I could see for a second opinion. I have two biopsies, first positive stain for celiac disease. The second, neg stain for celiac disease but mild atrophy of the villi. Two sets fo bloodwork came back negative. My current GI does not think I have celiac disease, he maybe right but, I really want some else to look at...

Rachel - I am sorry to hear about your appointment. I wish you the best when you go to see the GI. Not to shift topics too much, Vincent maybe you will see this but last night was very surreal. I went to a wake for 27 year old male in good health passed away while walking off a softball diamond. He was member of the local rugby team and I was out... -

The joint military language institute is also in Monterey. Never made it up that far. My last duty station was Long Beach in 1996. Wow, memories of drunken hot tub hopping are flooding back! -
