  1. Happy birthday and may God bless you today!

  2. So is Smirnoff Vodka gluten free? Or is Chopin the only gluten free vodka?
  3. I've been fighting this rash for about 2 years now. It came about a year before I realized I was gluten intolerant. It doesn't seem to be DH because it's never itched. It was biopsied as Grover's but being that I'm a 45 year old female that's pretty uncommon. Just wondering if anyone else has this problem?
  4. Can you explain why the biopsy should be beside the lesion and not the actual lesion itself? I've been fighting a rash for three years now and they biopsied the lesion and told me it was Grover's Disease. It used to not ich but it's starting to. It goes away if I take Acutane. I've been gluten free for 6 months, but I'm sure I not as strike as I should be...
  5. I was recently admitted to the hopsital for test on my heart because it was beating VERY hard and I was out of breath in very little exertion (and I'm a triathlete). They couldn't find anything wrong. But last night I was mixing up some cookies (with wheat flour) and my heart started doing it again and I was breathless just trying to mix the dough and eat...
  6. I've just heard that sprouted grains do not have gluten. Does anyone know if this is true. I thought they did...but don't understand all the details. I know this bread says "flourless" but I thought it still had gluten. Does anyone understand what "sprouted grains" means?
  7. I read to stay away from syrup. I get a little reaction from my sugar free pancake sryup. Aunt Jemima. Is it gluten free or are there any syrups that are gluten free? I'm confused!
  8. I'm talking about Peptizydeâ„¢ from Houston Nutraceuticals. Here's the web site: Open Original Shared Link or go to www.houstoni.biz Here's what they say on there web site: Peptizydeâ„¢ (pronounced "Pep-ta-zyde") is a combination of three different proteolytic enzymes isolated from plant sources. Each enzyme has a unique set of peptide bonds it ...
  9. I have a friend with an Autistic child and they say these enzyme tablets allow her to eat gluten and casein. Have any of you guys tried them or know anything about them? I do not have Celiac just intolerance. I'm wondering if I could take these enzymes and be able to eat gluten? I get bloating, constipations and stomach cramps......don't know if I have any...
  10. You got me thinking about cookies today so at Krogers I bought some...Lemon Shortbread actually. And then I read your response and I checked....they are Pamela's.....and they are very good. So I'll have to try the chocolate Chunk one now and I love Ginger Snaps so I'll check out those also. Thanks!!
  11. It's probably because I haven't really found any "good" tasting gluten-free foods yet. He'll eat it if that's the only thing I make but he'll pick something with gluten over gluten-free anyday. But, it is very respectful to not eat some of the naturally gluten-free foods I have purchased if he knows that's all I have to eat. Overall, he's just a great husband...
  12. Thanks everyone!! Some great ideas. I like the idea of keeping a list of the stuff I thought was gross!! I had a brownie mix first thing that was so bad!!! But then I had a chocolate cake that was very good. So I knew there was hope. I have adopted the shelf idea and my husband and son are very good about not eating "my stuff". I don't think I'm doing...
  13. I'm having a hard time with my protein bars, energy bars, protein powders, gels, etc... Does anyone have a list of what is gluten-free. Like Cliff Bars have oats....does anyone eat them and do ok? Should they be avoided??? Anyone use Hammer products???? Help, I need energy!!!!
  14. What is the best way it remember all the foods that are gluten free and not gluten free. How do you all do it? I'm at the store and I can't remember if it's safe or not. I've been trying to be gluten-free for a month now and I'm learning a lot......but there's got to be an easier way than reading every single list of ingredients on every product every...
  15. I had implant a year ago in September. I was just diagnosed through a stool sample at Enterolab with Gluten Sensitivity...but neg on the blood test for Celiac. I'm just starting my gluten free diet. I have wondered if there were any connections between the two. Also I have just been diagnosed with Grover's Disease, which is a skin rash of sorts....where at...
