    hi mommida... yes she did get the endoscopy done and biopsie too when she was younger in her country. They told her she had malabsorption and villi atrophy in the duodenum. Thats just a longer term of saying you have celiac disease.. to mee anyways..

    Hi raven, would it be a good idea for her to test herself? Like eat gluten? I know she gets very sick with very little contamination.

    Hi raven, thanks ! Yes she is very strict with the diet, she hasn't been putting on wieght because she eats very little and very slow. She is 90lbs at 38 yrs old. I think they didn't know much about the disease back in the days in Cuba. She said she feels some what better on the diet, but she doesn't have much energy. Everything she eats is safe home made...

    Hi, i met my girlfriend about 4 years ago. She was told back in her country when she was a child that she had malabsorption and flattened villi, but she was never told to follow a gluten free diet, which made her confused. After 3 years of strict gluten-free diet, she decided to go get tested for celiac, doctor told she doesn't have the disease. Off course...

    ingredinents Canada.. sugar, gelatin, adipic acid, sodium citrate, sodium phosphate, salt, artificial flavour, fumaric acid, colour, tricalcium phosphate.     Ok, whats the deal with this weight gain...I gained 5 pounds since last tuesday.. I'm not complianing or anything but, everyones freakin out hear, everyone knows me as skinny Mario,, I also never gained wieght since 18 years old..was always under weight..my doc is freakin out..must be the uncle bens and, the meat and, bananas..

    my doctor knows nothing about celiac, he also told me that I can cheat if sometimes I want to..Duh!!! he really loves writting out prescriptions tho..

    I never had a reaction to eggs..and, the noodles where corn noodles , which never bothered me before...I really don't have much choices in foods and, I feel dehyadrated...well I'm going to have some fish and, go relax... thanks for youe support..

    all I can think of is the omellette I had yesterday for lunch with cheese and, some pasta with veggies and, beef cubes and, a yogurt for lunch aswell.. I started feeling gasy and, started thinking..Last night I was ok I had some rice with chicken and, salad.....Well today I'm back on the rice and, bananas..oyi. I feel like sleeping for the rest of my life...

    lol..jess-- anyhow the only thing i questioned to kraft was the natural & arteficiel flavors they said that they where safe and, totaly gluten free.. sorry Jess..

    How many of you eat jello, can make a good snack and, Kraft does say it's gluten free..they have it on their gluten free list I call kraft very often, this is one good company.. also betty crocker friut snacks are safe and, gluten free I'm trying real hard..

    Ok so this is my story, the first week of my diet I was told by my friend George(celiac)that lays chips where safe and, gluten free and, that made me so happy, that I went out and, got myself a bag of regular lays. The first night of lays chips and, watching TV made me feel new again..I stopped the lays about one week ago cuz I got a little reaction..and...

    gillian you might wanna make sure about the Prevacid..I was taking it before and, found out it contained gluten..my pharmacist quickly switched to a gluten free losec, which come from a special company making gluten free meds just for celiacs.. you all might wanna check your meds, them bastards put gluten everywhere..and, makes it harder for us..

    hi gillian... I asked my pharmacist about the tylenol and, he told me not to chance it as there is a company here that makes medications just for celiacs..all the meds are gluten free and, my meds are payed by the government.. you might wanna double check the tylenols..
