    well saturday was my birthday and, everything was going great until i ate some corn puffs and, got major sick the morning after, where i was running to the bathroom very often. I'm doing better now but i'm dizzy cuz i lost lots of liqiuds..

    ok so i went to my doc and, he told me to put preperation H on my anus and, that it should go away within a few days. He wants to see me in two weeks..he told me not to worry about it..

    I had a glass of V8 from campells on Sunday evening and, I'v been having some little blood in stools twice since sunday, could this be hemorriods bleeding. I have no pains, just a little worried...I'm going to my doc today..

    I have been diagnosed two weeks ago today, but i'm feeling very weak, my doc put me back on the iron 2/daily. How long will it take for my body to start absorbing the nutrients, I wanna put on some weight, I really need it..I'm very thin. mario

    Yup, I just made a new celiac friend, her name is Linda. She's been celiac for 4 years, she said she will help me out. I'm also going to my dietition in two days.

    it is possible to get it under control..but, my question was my gastroenterologist found my villi to be almost flat and, inflammed, he made a scetch of it and, told me that it was going to go back up in a couple months..he made a finger like scetch. Ok, what I'm trying to understand is, can just one small miligram of gluten flatten the villi all over again...

    I have been on the diet for about 10 days now. How long will it take for my villi to heal up and, once healed can it get flat again if an accident happens...?? My friend has been celiac for 10 years now and, he's gotten less sensitive...he really respects his diet.. mario

    Thanks mariann..I'll take your advice, and, stick to the diet, as it is well worth it in the long run...I can always buy my gluten free cookies and, stuff my face once a week with a big coffee...hehhe Thank you so much.. xox

    I mean I'm all new at this been on the diet for one week now and, can feel the diference having the strenth to go back and, play my drums with my band, really feels great again.. But my question is after six months of healing will I be able to have a small cookie like everyone else will it re-damage the intestinal villi all over again or, will it be a slight...

    it takes some days for gluten to escape the body..I'v been on the diet for 5 days now and, doing great, eating right is just a plus for life..Its the diet that doctors prescribe... meats fish milk veggies friuts gluten-free bread eggs juice cheese yogurt salades Just read the labels and, get the handbook dictionary with all the ingredients...

    I think you are right Sharon..I was diagnosed two weeks ago..and, I'v been gluten-free for 5 days now and, can feel the diference..I am still anemic but, I was told that my anemic will go away and, my cells will get back to normal..I'v also lost my hair, had seizures and, been seriously depressed all my life..One celiac friend told me that my life is now...

    lowblaws is a huge grocery store..they have a glutin free department..very good prices too..
