  1. I get the stuff in the box from the store i think it's elpeto (sorry for the spelling) and i use the kingsmill egg replacer and silk milk as i am vegan too

  3. not sure where you are from but the here (Ontario) i found stuffing at zehrs in the frozen dept. for glutin free foods
  4. sounds like a good idea. i was in toronto this summer and stumbled accross a restaurant that was vegan and celiac friendly and the menu had something like gluten-free next to the items to tell you that it was safe. if there was something you wanted to try they would see if they could make it gluten-free friendly
  5. Just a note for all of you in the Guelph area the Stone Store downtown is great for finding the right food as well as Zehrs on Imperial and Pasiley Road.

  8. ok ... so i have a question from anyone in the London, ON area. I use to live there when i found out i was celiac. the health food store just off Richmond St. was great!!!! i think it was one block down from Oxford St. (next to the dool house not sure if it is still there near Wendys) they carried a product by a woman a named Marilyn ( not sure of...
  9. Well i know i don't feel it as bad as some but i also know what the worst case can be so i try to stay away from gluten all i can i really enjoy the tiai food so that is a help for me. i'll talk to my housemate and ask her to get hold heather and see if she goes on line.
  10. Lynxear...... well this may not be the best site but i'm sure it will help. My housemate has a friend that is wheat intorerant and we pass on suggestions to each other quite often.
  11. Hi We use the extra firm organic tofu and never have a problem. We make tofurkey from scratch as with most things it's safer that way. If you wish to have a tofu with flavor just put it in a food processor (not too long) to break it down add the spice you want then press it into shape again. Oh and if you wnat to use soya sauce the health food store...
  12. Hey thanks any help will do but you know what i'm wishing to for is a rice and cheese (vegan) based pizza crust haven't had pizza in sooooooo long my mom use to have a copy but over time and many folds i can't read a darn thing on it. Thanks kareena

Yes i am from Ontario Canada (Guelph) I was told i was celiac when i was seventeen. i took me a while to be willing to go without gluten ( it helped that i found out you can claim your food on incom tax). i have 3 children (14, 10 and 10 yes twins) part of the reason i kinda began eating gluten...
