There's a restaurant called Bistro 100 located in the uptown in Founders Hall. The chef there was very knowledgeable about gluten intolerance and I ate there with no problems. You may want to call ahead to preview the menu.

I was living in Charlotte, NC when I was diagnosed with celiac disease. The support group was a life-saver for me and they held meetings once a quarter. They were a great help and they were very informed of the current news about celiac. The two organizers while I was there were Daphne (704)366-3493 and Caroline (704) 588-6842. Good luck! My husband and I are heading to San Antonio, TX in June. Does anyone know of any "celiac-friendly" restaurants in the area? We'd love to visit local places - not the usual Wendy's and Outbacks! Thanks for your help!
