  1. Happy birthday and may God bless you today!

  2. I get chicken liver spread from my whole foods and I make tacos with it. The chicken liver spread has onion and egg in it. I cut up some tomatoes and put a lot of lemon juice on the liver and put it over corn tortilla. It's really good
  3. Well that's good to hear because I just went to Union Square today and bought a bag. I'm planning on using them for the crust of my cheesecake.
  4. I show some gluten free ginger snaps at the Trader Joe's near my house. I was wondering if anybody has tried them and if they like them
  5. I just wanted to tell everybody from New York that there is a Gluten-Free cooking Class at the Institute of Culinary Education on Friday, October 12th. I joined the workstudy program at the School there and saw it on the recreational Calendar. The school is in New York City (50 West 23rd St). 7. The pizza is made in a brick oven which made it taste really good. So it was crunchy and chewy just like new york pizza should be. I personally think that Risotteria's pizza is better. Mozzarelli is good for those days when it's just you can you only want one slice.
  8. Yea so today I went to Mozzarelli's for lunch. It was good, but I think the best part is that they sell it by the slice ( $3. 50, I think). There was no dessert, which was a bummer. I have to say Risottoria is better because there is more of a variety.
  9. I was wondering if anybody has been to this pizzeria on 38 East 23rd Street between Park & Madison. I am planning on going but I want to know if it's good.
  10. My favorite is the peanut butter, veggie and flax chips, chocolate covered bananas, white chocolate stuffed strawberries yum!, veggie burgers, and proscuitto.
  11. How is the diet going for you?
  12. Well that's good that you are off your meds. Congrats. I tried green beans yesterday and I was fine . I am going to take things little by little. I realized that I have to do that even though I don't have any serious illness ( I have IBS- Dominant C). Thanks I'm going to try 1/4 of an banana. Thanks Erica
  13. Thank That explains a lot. What about Applesauce?
  14. Okay so after two days on the SCDiet, I introduced pear sauce. right after that mt stomach started bothering me and got a little gassy. Now my question is did my stomach get like that because I was introducing a new food or what? How am I suppose to introduce a food?
  15. It is the Specific Carbohydrate diet. The best way to explain it is to go the the website www.breakingtheviciouscycle.com.
  16. How many days should I be on the intro if I never had D? Thanks Erica

    ARCHIVED Scd Diet

I'm glad to know that the SCD Diet has helped you a lot. I was wonder if you have to have severe D because in every story I read people talking about have D. See I don't have D, I actually have the complete opposite. Is this Diet also good for people with no D?

    ARCHIVED Scd Diet

That's really funny because i was thinking the same thing. I plan on starting it the beginning of May. I was looking at the older threads about SCD but then people just stopped talking about it.
  23. I'm going on August 18th. leaving from Fort. Lauderdale. That would be funny if we were going on the same cruise. I am soo excited this is my first cruise ever. We are going to Jamaica and the Cayman Island.
  24. when in August are you going? bc I'm going in August too. I'm soo excited
  25. People just do it to make the crust crispy. I watch 30 minutes meal with Rachael Ray and she always bakes her crust for ten minutes before putting the toppings on. She said that she always does it to make it crispy. When I make my pizza from Gluten free Pantry, I don't prebake it and it comes out perfectly crispy.
