  2. Tom PF Changs at Flatirons Crossing has a gluten free menu ! My kids and I were SO excited to find that out. That might be a good place to meet some time. My family will be attending the meeting today in Highlands Ranch, maybe we will meet you there. Lorraine
  3. We live in Boulder. My two sons and I have been fairly recently diagnosed. I am planning on attending the meeting in Highlands Ranch on Sat-the 28th, unless we have another rough night tonight . My boys are 2 of my triplets, and their sisiter does not have any symptoms and has not...

  7. I have been reading through some posts here, and thought I was aware of most hidden gluten foods, but maybe not ? Would you please share some of the not so obvious things you have found to contain gluten ? I don't know what we are going to do ! One of my boys has major challenges already nutritionally, he needs to eat MUCH more and more efficient foods...
  8. Celiac is not something that would stop you from being an eligible blood donor. Potential donors are screened thoroughly with a questionare. Like mentioned earlier a screening iron level test is done. All donated blood is tested for many potential problems before being administered. I was not able to donate blood for several years after I had my triplets...
  9. I just discovered this forum, and am really glad I did. I have 7 yr old triplets, and two of them have celiac (one confirmed, one strongly suspected). My son with the confirmed celiac also has short bowel syndrome, he had 70% of his small intestines, his ileocecal valve and part of his colon removed. The celiac diagnosis is relatively new (@9 months ago)...
  10. I have 7-1/2 yr old triplets, two of whom have either confirmed or suspected celiac disease. One of the boys also has short bowel syndrome-he had 70%+ of his small intestines removed, his ileocecal valve removed and part of his colon removed. He already has extremely challenging nutrition needs w/ short gut. Adding a gluten free diet to the challenges he...
