  1. I would disagree with this statement, and you provided the reason why: We, as consumers, have taught the medical profession that we want our problems to be solved with a pill. Why bother suggesting a diet change when it won't be followed anyway? You'll just go to a different doctor until you can get the pill you want.
  2. I'm sure he sensed the desperateness of your situation, and knew that drastic comforting was called for. A gentle vibration to lull you to sleep.
  3. Don't believe him M!! go check...
  4. Yeti-free. Tom does not consume yeti.
  5. You could ask them to run it, but if you're going to get scoped anyway, it probably doesn't matter.
  6. The article you cited does not support your claim. It states: "Approximately one fourth of investigators have industry affiliations, and roughly two thirds of academic institutions hold equity in start-ups that sponsor research performed at the same institutions." Not according to the CDC Open Original Shared Link No, it hasn't, according...
  7. Heck, the boys can wiz and write at the same time. A girl's gotta have some skill...
  8. A total IgA test should have been performed along with the Celiac panel. Not all docs know to do this. You could call the office and find out if they did it. Also ask about IgG responses from your testing.
  9. Again, it's hard to comment on what you are saying, unless you can provide a source. Do you have a URL for the article you read? Do you know the difference in hormone levels of organic vs non-organic animal products? Data for plastic breakdown? Genetic cause of BC based on? BRCA1 and 2? Familial inheritance?
  10. I'm not doubting your statements, or trying to detract from your experiences, but I'd like to point out that you are viewing your mother's condition from one perspective. Think about what happens when you walk into a doctor's office. You say "my stomach hurts". He thinks "cancer, unlikely, too young. food poisoning, unlikely, long duration...
  11. The bolded statements are written as fact and should have sources cited.
  12. Actually far more complex for me. Need to factor in number of glasses consumed in order to think tapioca red wine pudding is a good thing. This, I think, will vary, depending on level of sugar craving, and amount of chocolate available.
  13. Never comes up in my life  Spent yesterday evening hanging out with my young friend Maddie while her mom and dad went to some concert. Forgot how manipulative 7yo s are (AND I get to have a cookie after I brush my teeth!...um, that's about the one thing you DON'T get after cleaning your teeth...). Bit sleepy this morning, but whatever...
  14. You stated a lot of things as fact. Cite sources for those. If you say, for example, a vaccine causes disease, that should be referenced. If you say, I think this vaccine has led to an increase in disease, that's an opinion, and can stand alone.
  15. Again, if you make bold statements, you need to back them up with sources. If you stand by what you say, take the time to support it.
  16. Judes! Started raining here, too. ah well. Just a reminder of how much we're supposed to appreciate the sun.
  17. Really really good. Kinda fruit flavored with a little bite of alcohol. Dark chocolate shavings would have been perfect. And real whipped cream, of course.
  18. wine pudding did not set up well. I decided I could fix it by folding in some whipped cream. Went to the store, stood there staring at the cream, and decided that there was no way I was going to whip cream. Plan b. Cool whip. At this point I realized that never in my 4* years of life have I bought Cool whip. I had no idea where to look. Just kinda...
  19. Thanks a lot for outing me. I had everyone convinced I was an adorable child
  20. From me mum: THE GEOGRAPHY OF A WOMAN Between 18 and 22, a woman is like Africa, half discovered, half wild, fertile and naturally beautiful! Between 23 and 30, a woman is like Europe, well developed and open to trade, especially for someone with cash. Between 31 and 35, a woman is like Spain, very hot, relaxed and convinced...
  21. Forgot to add that I live alone. Couldn't be my cooking
  22. Missy'sMom has some really great ideas - if you can do them. I could not. I am completely unorganized, never think to make notes, and could never deal with going to the store twice a week. I keep frozen veggies well stocked in my freezer, as well as bags of cooked chicken strips. I have cans of fish and chicken in my cupboard, cans of beans, cans...
