  1. Puffins made me sick. I don't remember what kind I got, but I checked that it was gluten free.
  2. That's helpful. Thanks =)
  3. ursula/chelse- thanks =)
  4. I make sure to check everything. I know almost all the forbidden foods/additives by heart and I know most of the things gluten can be hidden in. BUT..vinegar. Do you know if it's safe? What about distilled or white wine vinegar? I've been having honey-dijon dressing on my salads for almost a week now. Ingredients: water, sugar, cultured buttermilk...
  5. I've never been tested to see if I was lactose intolerant. I'm pretty sure that's it though because I can eat yogurt and cheese. BUT maybe it was bothering me so much before becasue I was eating gluten, too when I didn't know I was intolerant to it. Thanks for the response/info!

Anyway, I was wondering if it's possible for me to be allergic/intolerant to anything else because...
  9. I was hospitalized for Encephylitis (sp?) when I was about nine years old. I couldn't eat for two weeks because everything I ate came back up. I was told when I was released that I'd probably have symptoms from it for the rest of my life (stomach aches, dizziness...). After a few years, I got tired of all the stomach aches I got whenever I ate and figured...
  10. Thanks to you and to everyone for the responses. I wish there were a cure!
  11. I was told that homeopathic remedies can cure celiac disease. The lady who specializes in it says she meets with me and we talk and then she makes an herbal mixture and gives it to me. I take it and over time my body will heal itself. I really don't want to waste $185 on it if it wont work (125 for first appointment and 60 for the check up about 6 months...
