Hello, I am about 5 months in this gluten free lifestyle due to a diagnosis (Doctor told me hes confident I still have "IBS" which I know I need to get the endoscopy and colonoscopy, but college student. ANYWAYS, couldn't complain much these past few weeks because I was feeling okay-ish, but this guy has been installing drywall in a house about three houses down and I have been walking over and talking to him(dust flying everywhere) every so often and guess what came back a couple hours ago? The horrible cramps and diarrhea. It doesn't feel as horrible anymore, Ive noticed? Like, the first times I got "those cramps" I really thought something horrible was going on other than that and Id need to go to the hospital, but the more it happens, the more I realize its temporary. Just waiting on the Imodium to kick in because my stomach area is noisy and having spasms!

I did a big repair on my ceiling after a leak, I got as far as cutting away the drywall, causing dust to fall all over me... by that afternoon I got hit with my glutening symptoms worse than ever... (to be fair, I was completely covered in dust and snacked before showerimg, which would be consumptio, but only after washing up...) I had no clue what caused the symptoms until 3 weeks later I happened upon someone mentioning that some drywall has gluten.... that is when I did some Googling and had other people also state this.... so I now use extreme caution when doing drywalling, but also believe that it depends on the brand of drywall, and mud...

BTW, we've done other articles on this topic that I wanted to share here (not to condone smoking!):

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?
