A grain-free diet is not the same as a diet for Celiac disease. ... Where the gluten-free diets are only suggested to people with the autoimmune disease ...

Good article and even has medical studies linked at the bottom. I do have a few things to comment about

" Constantly eating foods that are high in calories and low in nutritional value is also a form of food addiction which many of us have. According to a study published in American Journal of Clinical Nutrition grain-free foods do not cause addiction. "  >.< I find grain free foods more addicting then I EVER found gluten treats. They are much more, filling in the mouth and stomach. AND BEST PART no cramping or filling very sick and bloated after.  >.> but this might be my celiac and UC, eating gluten foods in the past was fine before DIA and they were good...but I could never eat very much of them and no matter how they tasted they always made me tired afterwards. I also used to consider vomiting after a meal "normal"  (never made the connection back then)

" One of the most recent discoveries in gluten-free dieting was the effect on the mental health of the person and found that such a diet can be helpful in epilepsy, seizures, autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, anxiety, and depression. "
VERY true since I dropped all grains and carbs back in February, my mental health and MUCH improved I hardly ever have to use my vape pen, CBD oil, etc. Now days. I used to have to every day, and suffered anxiety attacks. This could also be due to increasing cocoa nib, and seed intake of foods to reduce stress.

"Going grain-free has been proven to be particularly good with people suffering from poor digestion or digestive disorders such as the leaky gut syndrome, IBS, Crohn’s disease, and other gastrointestinal issues.

Cutting off grains from the diet might also help you in relieving the symptoms that come with such digestive issues such as those ofOpen Original Shared Link – inflammation, headaches, fatigue, nausea, weight gain, and complications related to the skin."

Again my digestion is much more regulated, and my UC is much better, but I also cut out sugars, starches, and carbs,

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?
