Omg...i Might Be On To Something

Recommended Posts

Julie, my son has been taking Humaworm for kids for about a week now. I asked if he noticed anything different about his BM's and he said, "Yeah, they're big and green!" He has since told me about stuff he's seen, but nothing that looks like a worm.

:lol::lol:

Keep us poted how it goes for you with this.

Rachel, do you remember what your numbers were?

Andrea, it's AST (SGOT) and ALT (SPGT)

Hi Sarah! I don't watch House.

Actually its already got that "distressed" look....you know like $100 for jeans with holes in them.

So yeah...my new "worn" stuff looks even more worn.

  Yeah, I have some of those, too. I bought a pair of Blue Cult jeans just before I dropped the 15 pounds  ... they are the most expensive jeans I ever bought, and now they are HUGE! I wore them today anyway ... they're like wearing sweats 'cause they're so big! And they don't fall off like they used to, they're just the wrong size.

Carla,

Thanks.

Rachel,

NO! I don't think you talk a lot!!! :P:D:lol: I just meant that it was quiet over the weekend and you were gone also...both combined made for a quiet OMG thread weekend. LOL!!!

I actually am really starting to be sensitive to chemicals. We bought a new laundry detergent and it is so strong I need to re wash my clothes because every time I get dressed I get such a bad headache...ugh! STUPID CHEMICALS!!!! LOL!

Sarah,

Lol. Retail therapy is great!

Everyone,

So it turns out, my mom wants to see my GCP before we go to see the LLMD. So, we are going to cancel the LLMD appt. this week. :(:huh: We will get an appt. with him and see what he says because the LLMD's office told my mom that he has to be on board with everything we are doing. AHHHHHH!!! What if he thinks we're crazy?! Then we're back to square one!! This is so annoying that my mom is so wishy washy with everything. One minute she thinks we should see the LLMD asap, then the next she doesn't think we need to see him at all because she doesn't think I have Lyme! AHHHHHH!!!

Sorry, a little venting.

Kassandra :(

Hi Julie! :D House is one of my favorites.

Kassandra,

:( Maybe you can keep the appt with the GCP short and sweet. Like, We feel that a Western Blot is wise at this point, and we're having a Lyme expert interpret the results. Period.

Having him "on board" doesn't really mean he has to sign off on everything. That would be pointless. Maybe when they said that to your Mom, they were reiterating what Carla said about needing a local doc who is up-to-date with everything that is going on with you.

So today I went to the mall to get some new clothes (it's been a LONG time...lol) and I came home and was dead to the world!!! I was so tired...now I remember why I don't go clothes shopping anymore! I used to go almost 2-3 times a month!!! :o:lol: I got a couple new shirts for really cheap! And they are really cute!! :P I also got a pedicure which was really nice! I have really cute pink toe nails!! :D

I am seemingly getting worse and worse as the days are going by. I am SO tired it is ridiculous! My hematologist said it's okay for me to go to Northern CA as long as I feel up to it. I have no idea when they are going to get my PICC line. I am really nervous about that though. I already have a terrible bruise just from the blood draw yesterday because my veins are so sensitive. :(

The days of making my bed are LONG gone. I have been so tired, getting dressed is a hard task.

I hate shopping! I know I'm in the extreme minority.

Glad you were able to get out, but sorry it wiped you out so bad. Hang in there.

By the way...just thought I'd let everyone know I spoke to Lisa. Shes doing about the same and hopefully at some point she can get the $$ to see a good Dr. I think shes trying to see if she qualifies for disability.

Thanks Rachel. I do worry about her too. She really needs some good, professional help.

I'm going to start using the SpiceShip again. B)

My Dr. wants me to do them again...as long as its not too close to the days I go in for DMPS.

That'll be nice for you if you can keep from overdoing it because you want to stay toastie. :)

So it turns out, my mom wants to see my GCP before we go to see the LLMD. I don't like this news one little tiny bit! If you could get in within the next month that'd probable be ok but come on! Can't you send the paperwork to the doctor you just recently saw? The one who did the blooddraw?

I'm sorry about the bruising too. I think I forgot to comment on that previously. :(

Did you get the paperwork signed off for your Igenex test?

Nope. They wouldn't sign off for the Igenex test. No Dr. would and since the most recent one I saw was a "director of well being" he has no medical degree so Igenex won't accept his signature. We can try to get my GP to sign off, but I just worry that they have "lost" my blood by now. lol.

We should be able to get into my GP on Thursday. Since my schedule is flexible now, we will be able to go as soon as they can get us in. He really does like me, so they usually get me in whenever I ask. B)

I am just so sick and tired of all of this! It is exhausting!!!

I agree this news sucks! I like hearing good news. I feel like we're not going to see the LLMD until I'm 40. <_<

Kassandra

PS, Carla...I WISH I had jeans that were too BIG!!! :D:o Mine are all too tight right now! I can't seem to lose the weight. Hopefully the raw diet will help with that.

Kassandra, this is bad news. :(

Since you're seeing your GP Thursday, can you still see your LLMD Friday? It actually won't be lost time if the GP will do the IGeneX test for you. Cry at the doctor's office .... that's how I got mine to run the test. :P:lol:

Your mom is wishy-washy because it's really, really hard to know the right thing to do as a parent. You see clearly what you want done, but your mom isn't reading the thread every day and she is getting different information from all sides. She's worried that you're so anemic and thinks that seeing the GP is the priority ... and it actually might be .... but get him to run the IGeneX test.

Point out to her that these mainstream guys are not helping you get healthy and you are in fact getting worse under their care .... that you really, really want to see the LLMD!

In the meantime, would your mom let you start some herbs? I'd try Samento and Cumanda .... they're two of the Cowden herbs .... and the detox ones are Parsley and Burbur.

Also, if you're feeling worse, it could partially be due to the diet you're on, it always made me feel bad except for the time I did it for a week.... it's very detoxifying! Maybe taking some Chlorella might help get those toxins out and/or eat a little bit of cooked food to slow down the detox.

Yesterday I bought some more BioChem whey, but they were out of vanilla, so I got natural flavor .... it has all the same ingredients as vanilla, except the vanilla has fructose. Night and day difference. The vanilla is SO much better. So, for those of you who have tried it and thought it was gross, you might try the vanilla and see if you like it.

Carla,

Is whey free of casein as well??

Kassandra,

It takes so long to get into the LLMD, even if you don't have your Igenex test done yet it might be beneficial to go. They can do other things, get your history talk about your present health picture, etc, then when the test comes in you will be good to go and you can start treatment asap.

Am I missing something, couldn't the LLMD sign for the test??

I would not mind learning more about miasms. I do not really know what they are. You have discussed them some before, but not in great detail. Maybe I will Google them. Meanwhile, I hope you get to test for those next time!

Yeah, I keep meaning to search too...haven't gotten around to it yet.

Donna....I could totally use your help with the Bounce!! :D

Right now the display is empty...a big void where the Bounce should be....they're all "hiding" in a box somewhere tucked away in the backroom.

You just know those stupid bounce boxes are just ready to spring out at you one of these days, waiting for the right time and place. Never fear...Donna, pest and bounce box relocator is here.

You know how Dr. S. is...

Oh yeah, lol. I'm hoping he'll agree to start more aggressive treatments for me, even if it's just cholestrymine for the toxins, lol. I see him in December sometime, lol.

I really need to get off the sugar...I have just been rachelling chocolate like crazy and when I try to stop then I start rachelling fruit. :(

but it's all superficial

Not mine, lol...if you came to my house...well, I wouldn't let you in, lol. The mess is quite evident and apparently not going anywhere anytime soon. :P

Anyone else here, besides Sherry, have elevated liver enzymes?

I don't think so. YEARS ago I had something with the liver going on, but it's been YEARS.

So we got a packet from the LLMD's office with forms and info packets. They ask us to write the reffering physician's name and info. My concern is I haven't been in touch much with my GCP. Should I still put his name on the paper? They won't see us unless we have a Doctor's name. What did you do about this?

Unfortunately I LOVE shopping. Any kind. Doesn't even have to be for me. I think I should be a personal shopper or something.

Regarding the physidian's name...I can't remember if I wrote one in or not. Actually, I think it's because my LLMD had the Igenix tests there and so he sent it in and everything.

I agree with Julie...can't the LLMD sign for the tests?

By the way...just thought I'd let everyone know I spoke to Lisa. Shes doing about the same and hopefully at some point she can get the $$ to see a good Dr. I think shes trying to see if she qualifies for disability.

Thanks for the update. I hope she can get the disability...that would help a little.

Do any of you west coasties watch House? The subject matter tonight was relevant to many. (I don't want to say much if you like the show, but haven't seen tonight's yet.)

I used to watch it...don't seem to ever know what time it's on though.

NO! I don't think you talk a lot!!!

Oh, go ahead and say it...it's okay, lol.

Ha! If you see one by the time you're 40, you're still a few years ahead of me in getting there!

And would be WAY ahead of me, lol.

Carla,

I guess my mom wants the results of the GI stuff and she wants the Iron to be under control before we go. We don't want to have to go to him again after we see him to bring the results from tests, etc. I want to go to him asap, but if my mom doesn't want to, I don't really have too much say in the matter.

I actually just got a phone call from the "director of health" at that office I was going to and they said they may just sign it after all. GRR! That is great, but what was the freakin' hold up??!!!

Donna and Julie,

The LLMD will only sign it once I see him. We wanted to go to him with results so we wouldn't have to wait for more results to come back to then start treatment.

Andrea,

I agree, this is getting crazy! My mom is a little overwhelmed I guess.

From what Carla and rinne have repeatedly said, I understood lyme was also largely a clinical dx (am I remembering that right girls??).

I guess I am thinking the LLMD would take into account your GI and iron issues and might help you with that as well, killing several birds with one stone so to speak.

Yes, it's a clinical diagnosis.

The LLMD will be able to help you with your other issues, but I can understand your mom's point as well about wanting the tests to be done before you go. For me, the LLMD is out of pocket, so if I can have the testing done through someone else, it's a benefit.

BECAUSE Lyme is a clinical diagnosis, and BECAUSE you've had the rash, I suggested the herbs. That way you can gently get started. Many herx from the herbs! With the detox herbs and with the abx herbs, it would give you a head start and prepare you for the rest. I personally would also want to start on chlorella to soak up toxins that may be there.

Of couse, I'm not a doctor. :)

I can tell you for sure, your mom is absolutely overwhelmed and torn up about this. She trusts your judgment, but ultimately has to make the decisions and be responsible for them.

You might not be able to get the GI issues and iron under control before you go. Getting an iron IV might give you more strength for the treatments and trip .... but I am thinking that if you have Lyme, it's what's behind your anemia and GI problems.

I have to agree with this. A good LLMD will treat many different things and test many different things.

I understand the confusion of your mom though. It's a tough spot to be in to want you child well and not being sure which way to go.

Is it your GI appointment that's on Monday?

Okay, I'm not sure, but I think I may have had a tapeworm .... there was something strange and flat .... after only a few days! :o I'll spare you the details .... Julie had asked for an update .... I don't think I wouldh have posted this otherwise. Honestly, I thought everything would be of the microscopic variety ....

When I did a parasite cleanse a couple years ago the very next day I saw what was probably a very large worm.

I couldnt be positive but its the only time I've ever seen anything like it.

Kassandra,

If it were me I'm sure I would be quite anxious to get in to see the LLMD...BUT...at the same time I know that the appt. would be more "complete" if I had the Igenex results on hand.

Since your mom canceled the appt. I'd take adavantage of the wait and get the testing done ahead of time. Even though the diagnosis is clinical the LLMD is still gonna order the tests...personally, I'd rather have it all ready. If you have a positive test on hand it will save some time (as far as figuring stuff out) during your appt. It will also save you an extra trip over here to go over the results.

Carla,

I think Lyme is the basis of almost all of my problems. At this point, I care what is causing them, but I do think the iron needs to be taken cared of right away! I think traveling may have pushed me over the edge. We also have to pay for the LLMD out of pocket, so we don't want to have to see him every couple weeks because it will be expensive!! $$$

That parasite cleanse sounds GROSSSSSSS!!!!:o

Andrea,

I also agree with Julie. We will get in to the LLMD soon, I hope. My GI appt. is Monday.

Rachel,

I do think it will be more complete to go with all the results from all tests (GI stuff, Iron and Igenex). Because if he is a good doctor he would tell me to get iron IV's and then call him once my iron goes back up because it is so critically low, my hematologist was even talking about hospitalizing me! :o

Everyone,

Part of the reason I think my mom wants to go to the LLMD with all results in hand is because we don't want to have to go back to see him all the time. As it is, he doesn't do phone consults for patients that are in state...so we won't be able to do phone consults. It will end up being cheaper to do it this way (bringing all results with us) so we don't have to go back to see him in order to go over the results.

That's what I'm saying .... it was broken, but only one piece was separated where I could get a good look at it and it was flat .... several pieces about 4-5 inches long ... I'd say 2-3 feet of total. :o YUCK!

It would be to your advantage financially to get as much testing as you can out of the way before you go. He won't prescribe anything until you get IGeneX results, most likely. If he doesn't work by phone, then you would need to go back up ... yeah, I can understand waiting! I went to my first appt. with IGeneX results in hand. I think you should go even if they're negative since it is a clinical diagnosis, but you will not lose any time by waiting a couple weeks.

Carla,

Wow... :o

Kassandra,

To echo everyone else, why aren't any of your dr's doing anything for you? I hope everything gets sorted out with IgeneX very soon, and that you start getting your IVs. :(

Rachel,

Congratuations on your DMPS results! :D

Andrea,

I know you asked me a while back if I'd done BioSet before. Yes, I did it for about 10 years, and my current Naturopath does muscle testing (TBM).

Everyone,

My life's been eaten up by school recently. We also had a Jane Austen-style ball, and saw the GI specialist today. That appointment was horrid. Within 5 min, Mom and the Dr. were in the middle of a major power struggle, and it was just awful. I told Mom way back when she made an appointment that seeing the Dr would be pointless, and it was doubly so since the GI knew nothing about Celiac, ignored everything we said about allergies (apparently allergies don't effect the GI system at all  ), and then Mom had to bring up Lyme!<_< So I have an endoscopy scheduled with a different Dr. in the practice to get a biopsy for celiac (which is pointless, utterly pointless) and (hopefully) for the strictures in my throat (which she said weren't strictures at all, but spasms from acid... which I'm not really buying for many reasons). And the Dr. was very insistent that I go on meds for acid reflux, as well as extremely rude. I'm not sure who fired who first, us or the dr! <_<
