Thank you for contacting us, in regards to your inquiry, we cannot exclude the possibility that gluten or nuts may be used in the manufacturing of the raw materials, or used as a processing aid.

Again, thank you for taking the time to contact us. If you have any additional questions or comments, please call me toll-free at 1-800-56-ORALB (566-7252). We always appreciate the opportunity to serve our customers.

That was their answer on their Prophy Paste used at the dentist office. When I called they told me there is no gluten in their ingredients and they gave me an email address to send for the ingredient list. Does anyone know if this product is okay? I mean, this is just a CYA letter since they don't manufacture the ingredients they use.

Thanks

Oral B has always been a CYA company. I wouldn't be concerned about unflavored prophy paste.

Thank you. I was hoping you'd answer. :D

Your daughter is beautiful. I was so sorry to read about your tragedy ... mine is off to college this year so it really hit me how we just can't take them for granted.

PS What do you think about the mint flavor?

Prophy Paste than it is gluten free. I contacted the company and they confirmed it a few weeks ago.

I put on over 12kg by eating protein with every meal, 3 to 5 times a day. Eggs, Chicken, Tuna, Turkey etc. I stay away from too much red meat as it can be inflammatory. Scott is correct. I've come across a bunch of Coeliac PT's on Tiktok and Instagram. They all say the same thing, the key is getting enough protein and consistency.

It's great to hear that eliminating gluten has helped alleviate symptoms like eye burning, which is a significant and positive change. The first and most important step is to ensure you're consuming enough protein throughout the day to support muscle repair and growth, which can be challenging with a busy schedule. Since you're already physically active at work, adding focused strength training just 2-3 times per week can make a major difference. Bodyweight exercises like squats, push-ups (modified if needed), and lunges, or using resistance bands at home, are excellent, efficient places to start. Remember, consistency with these short sessions and prioritizing post-workout recovery, including good sleep and hydration, are just as crucial as the workouts themselves. It's a smart, gradual process at any age.

Trader Joe's carries a good variety of affordable gluten-free foods like bagels, hamburger buns, pasta, etc. I like Franz Gluten Free bread, which is available at my local Costco. Food For Life and Little Northern Bakehouse (advertisers here) also make excellent gluten-free breads. Costco also sells gluten-free pizzas, crackers, gravy, etc.
