My daughter was diagnosed two months ago and is going back to school. Is there a form letter I can download w/information on Celiac Disease for school personnel? Thanks for any info.

I'm not sure if there's a patent letter online, but my suggestion is to have a doctor's note handy. Keep the original draft and make several copies. My GI described celiac disease in my letter and explained the diet to the reader so any personnel with whom I speak are well-aware of the condition and realize that it's not difficult to accomodate a Celiac.

I hope your daughter enjoys her school year!!!

Sincerely,

LeeV Apprentice

Thanks Jill! I did find form letters that are for teachers, principals, school nurse, cafeteria personnel, etc. on the Celiac Sprue Association website. But I should get a letter from my daughter's doctors anyhow. Thanks again.

The Lindt (Lindor) dairy-free oat milk truffles are definitely gluten-free, and (last time I checked) so are the white chocolate truffles and the mint chocolate truffles.

I've used magnesium taurinate and magnesium taurate vitamins.  Didn't notice much of a difference when I used them.

More great tips, and a good excuse to shop at M&S and also buy more iced buns!   I wish we had an ASDA near us, as the few times we've been to one their gluten-free pasta range seemed very reasonably priced compared to other shops.  Thanks so much, @Russ H.
