I don't know about the magnesium. But your vitamin D is too low, it should be at least 50 to 150, around 125 being optimal.

The best way to get vitamin D is in cod liver oil. Try the Carlson brand, it doesn't taste bad (that is what I am taking).

Are you referring to 50-150nmol/l or ng/l

My doctor said sufficient vitamin d is between 32-100ng/L. Is it dangerous to take supplements in case of toxicity. Do the cod liver pills work good, and what size dose?

Optimal 25-hydroxyvitamin D values are:

45-50 ng/ml or

115-128 nmol/l

Normal 25-hydroxyvitamin D lab values are:

20-56 ng/ml

50-140 nmol/l

Taken from mercola.com

So, if your doctor says that 32-100ng/L is normal, then he is saying that toxic levels are normal. I guess I was thinking you meant nmol/l, which is what I was referring to.

Still, even if your lab measures by ng/L, 34 is normal, but not optimal.

I find using the liquid Carlson's cod liver oil is best, because those pills don't contain much. Plus, I hate taking pills. In your case I would suggest taking one teaspoonful a day, and having your levels checked again in a couple of months. Because vitamin D toxicity is dangerous, too.

Yes, probably slipped his mind. Grace is in order here is my thought.

I should have added that, while I dont have access during the meetings, I do as soon as I leave them (same for him) so I would have seen before I even left work. He has my number since we've needed to coordinate by cell a few times for work and other stuff. I usually have a protein bar or two in my desk for emergencies so I could have grabbed one of those and gone to meet them at the right restaurant.  Someone else decided on the change of restaurant and it must have slipped his mind that I wasn't coming back to my desk.

But if you were not in the office and would not not have access to your phone, how could he inform you of the change in venue?

I thought there was, he's the one I told that I would not be back in the office or have access to my phone before the lunch. I've talked to him before about having celiac and he has experience with caring for food allergies. I think it was just an accident, it just didn't feel very good. Especially with no apologies for not telling me about the change despite being specifically invited.

Read and understood with sympathy. Food for thought, excuse the pun. For future reference, is there an officemate you can count on to alert you when the group makes sudden changes in plans like that? Someone who is truly looking out for you?
