Genetics Test Results

I'm just curious about my genetics test results and was hoping some of the experts here could help me.

I know they are positive for celiac disease, because it says that all over the printout.

But, I want to know a little more. For instance, someone on the board stated something once about being a Double DQ2.

Here are my results:

DQ2 (DQA1*05/DQB1*02) Positive

DQA1*0501 or *0505 Detected

DQB1*0201 or *0202 Detected

DQ8 (DQB1*0302) Negative

DQB1*0302 Not detected

Does this mean I'm a doube DQ2? If so, does this mean that both my parents carry the sensitivity gene?

There are two versions of the DQ2, and it looks like you have both of them....one involves both the alpha and beta chain and the other is the ordinary DQ2.
