List Of gluten-free Craft Supplies?

Hi,

My 2 yr old has just gone gluten-free. Already seeing small changes. She will be attending daycare soon.

Does anyone have a list of gluten-free craft supplies they could share? Glue, crayons, play dough like substance, etc.

Are there any pieces of advice about what areas to watch out for in daycare? Generally the teachers have been very good in the past, so I hope they will get this without much of an issue.

There is a short gluten-free school supply list over on Open Original Shared Link.

gluten-free playdough is available from Open Original Shared Link. It is expensive, but you get a lot and it lasts a long time.

Crayola addresses this issue under their FAQ section. The only crayola product that is not gluten free is their play dough. All of their clays are gluten free. There are plenty of gluten free play dough recipes online if you want to make your own.

      Shingles is dormant and related to chicken pox when one has had in the past.Shingles comes out when stress is heightened.I had my 3rd Shingles in 2023.

      Oats naturally contain a protein called avenin, which is similar to the gluten proteins found in wheat, barley, and rye. While avenin is generally considered safe for most people with celiac disease, some individuals, around 5-10% of celiacs, may also have sensitivity to avenin, leading to symptoms similar to gluten exposure. You may fall into this category, and eliminating them is the best way to figure this out. Some people substitute gluten-free quinoa flakes for oats if they want a hot cereal substitute.
