Hi Everyone , I just wanted to thank you all who responded to my question.

The test we took last week, CBC and Allergy MARCH test were both good, at least no allergy at all for the ones they tested for and all his blood count levels were good.

My DS had his Celiac test and Another Allergy test done on Monday. That was even worse that the first time , They blew his arm out then had to use his wrist on the other arm and they had a really hard time getting enough blood for the test , since they needed 3 tubes ! GRRR

He had a weight check as well and gained 2 ozs so not really anything but at least he didn't lose. Anyway the nurse was very nice and said that she thought that we were doing the right thing to have him checked for celiacs and if we thought of any other type of test that they could preform to just ask since with so many heads put together we should be able to figure this out. I was so relived to feel like I had someone who validated my suspisions like she did. She did say that she saw an allergist in My DS's future and I can definatly agree there. I showed her pictures of his reactions to the different foods that I have taken and she was horrified at the big ugly red burn looking marks , I told her that we are now making a food /picture log book with documented written reactions with pictures of the food brand and the reactions on his skin. she thought that was a great way to keep track and I have found that it is alot easier than just writing something down.

Hopefully we will get the Celiac's test results back soon and we will go from there. Again Thank You all so much . Just reading all of the post here and hearing from you all makes me feel so much better!

Taz

Hey, I know exactly how you feel! I just got here last week or so and I feel very happy here! I only got the suspicion for my kids but have to fight for the tests. My son had been testet last year for celiac which came back negative, thats why this year a year later our Ped. Gastroenterologist does not take me very seriously since I brought my 10 month old too which got everything from severy bloating and gas, to some mild seizures ect. He did give me scripts for Celiacpanel on both kids (restest for my son) and this time he wants the lab (on Base here-Military) to send it to Prometheus which is specialised in analyzing this type of stuff and therefore more experienced. Now the lab on Base says they are not sure they can send our stuff to Prometheus even though our Insurance will and accepts Prometheus. something or some issue with the Lab-Driver or something! I'm so glad that h ere everybody takes one seriously and gives good advice!

Yea, it's so nice to just be able to have someone who is able to answer your questions and even if undiagnosed give us hints on what to do what to look for and how to cope with all the changes. I haven't heard back from the Dr. yet for my DS's test results for celiacs but i expect that they will be coming soon. I wonder how long it takes normally? waiting is so hard especially when eveytime I feed him anything he is hurting and almost instant D (if you know what I mean) . I just want some kind of answer so I can help him .... this really sucks.

I understand about the base hospitals /labs they always fight you on doing anything , or sending you to a specialist . GRRRR

Thank you that’s really helpful, hopeful won’t have to have a biopsy.

That means the normal range (i.e. not celiac disease) would be a result less than 14.99.  Your result is WAY above that. Some gastroenterologists would diagnose that as celiac disease even without a confirming biopsy because it is more than ten times the top of the normal range.

Hi everyone. Back in 2022 I had blood work drawn for iga ext gliadin. Since then I’ve developed worse stomach issues and all other health issues. My doctor just said cut out gluten. He did no further testing. Please see my test results attached. I just need some direction cause I feel so ill and the stomach pain is becoming worse. Can this test show indications for other gastrointestinal diseases?

Thank you. These were the results TTG ABS NUMERICAL: > 250.0 U/mL [< 14.99]  Really don’t understand the results!

Clearly from what you've said the info on Dailymed is much more up to date than the other site, which hasn't been updated since 2017. The fact that some companies might be repackaging drugs does not mean the info on the ingredients is not correct.
