Hi everyone.

I'm not new to this site, I have celiac disease. I need info for a friend of a friend.

The boy is 2 and was just dianosed. Please give me the best links, topics, websites, etc... This girl has turned to me for help and I plan on sending her here, but first I need to get her started.

Again, I have celiac disease but I don't have kids, therefor, I have no idea how to help a 2 year old. I don't even know what stage of foods they eat. I really am clueless when it comes to kids.

I know, it's pathetic.

Please help

Hi and Welcome!

my 7 year old daughter was recently diagnosed, so i know how incredibly overwhelming it can be! the main website that comes to mind is R.O.C.K.- Raising Our Celiac Kids. they should have some very useful information for your friend, they are a support group as well. also, right where you are is hands down the most informative and supportive place to come! any time i need anything this is where i come, the people here are simply amazing! i would be lost without this website and community, i was refered here by my daughter's pediatric GI, it was one of many great things she has done for my daughter! anything you or your friend needs, don't hesitate to ask, I've learned there is no such thing as tmi here lol! good luck and best wishes~K

I eat a lot of dairy but its intermittent is this burning so I would assume it would happen all the time. Plus I have been tested for lactose intolerance  etc and I am fine and the other symptoms of that I don't get. As a aside  my dad died last month after a long illness so I wonder if the stress of that might be a influence as a bodily reaction to stress.

You should be fine.  You may start feeling better within a few days.  Someone who is very low in thiamine may notice improvement within hours.   Did you get the NeuroMag  or another magnesium supplement?

Yes Bobs redmill cgf oatmeal I started when I became gluten-free. So taking all 3 with breakfast should work? Will I notice any reactions getting used to these or should I be fine. Thanks

Hello, @pilber309, welcome to the forum! Are you currently consuming dairy?   You mentioned something about lots of yogurt and cheese, but did you cut it out or are you eating lots of it?   Could you clarify please? Some people with Celiac react to casein, the protein in dairy the same as to gluten with antibodies and villi damage.
