I Have Been Suffering With This Since I Was A Baby. Could It Be?

I have had digestive problems since I was a baby. I couldn't keep baby formula down and threw up daily. Everyone thought it was lactose intolerance but I can now eat sour cream ice cream and alot of other dairy products. I was extremely underweight as a child and teenager. I developed an issue with eating friuts and vegetables in childhood and gradually more types fruit/veggies began giving me stomoch aches with cramps and nausea. I developed a thyroid problem (another celiac symptom) that caused me to become over weight in my early twenties which went away and now I am finally in normal weight range. I don't get stomoch aches from wheat (but I often am gassy and bloated), although I have heard that celiac disease can cause problems digesting veggies/fruit until you go on a gluten free diet. I have gas alot of the time (sorry tmi), indigestion often, and I am always constipated or get diarrhea. If I don't take fiber I wont be able to have a bowel movement for days. I know that I need to see a doctor about this but was wondering if anybody thought these COULD BE signs of Celiacs disease?

Absolutely. But don't get your hopes up TOO high about finding a doctor who is knowledgeable about Celiac. Some are, but many are not to the point of being cluelessly negligent.

If you don't feel the need to have the condition confirmed by tests (the forum is full of discussions pro and con) then just try a totally gluten free diet and see what happens. As diet is the only treatment anyway, it may just provide your answer without the cost of all those tests. :)

The Lindt (Lindor) dairy-free oat milk truffles are definitely gluten-free, and (last time I checked) so are the white chocolate truffles and the mint chocolate truffles.

I've used magnesium taurinate and magnesium taurate vitamins.  Didn't notice much of a difference when I used them.

More great tips, and a good excuse to shop at M&S and also buy more iced buns!   I wish we had an ASDA near us, as the few times we've been to one their gluten-free pasta range seemed very reasonably priced compared to other shops.  Thanks so much, @Russ H.
