Gluten-free In Spain

Is there anyone out there who is gluten-free and living in Spain? I've lived here (Valladolid) for 10 years and am still having trouble avoiding "hidden gluten" in many foods. For example, does chorizo have gluten? jamon?

Most of the gluten-free bread products here are not to my liking as they're mostly corn starch based and just don't taste that good to me. Also, they're very expensive. I'd like to make more of my own baked goods, but I haven't found a supplier of gluten-free flours and mixes. I'd also like to find a supplier of uncontaminated oats, as the last recipe I made with oats gave me a bad reaction. Does anyone know of a supplier of gluten-free products who ships within Europe?

I welcome any advice from celiacs living here who can tell me what foods to avoid that have hidden gluten (or what ingredients I must avoid--I always read the lables, but I admit that I have no idea what all the E-number ingredients are, and which may contain gluten.) Any help you can give me will be very much appreciated.

The Lindt (Lindor) dairy-free oat milk truffles are definitely gluten-free, and (last time I checked) so are the white chocolate truffles and the mint chocolate truffles.

I've used magnesium taurinate and magnesium taurate vitamins.  Didn't notice much of a difference when I used them.

More great tips, and a good excuse to shop at M&S and also buy more iced buns!   I wish we had an ASDA near us, as the few times we've been to one their gluten-free pasta range seemed very reasonably priced compared to other shops.  Thanks so much, @Russ H.
