Pf Chang's=amazing Gluten Free Experience!

I just had the most amazing meal at PF Chang's! I've had a terrible time finding restaurants to eat at. Usually, the staff looks at you like you're speaking another language when you ask for gluten free menus and even if they do have a gluten free menu, the food is usually contaminated (I can tell almost immediately) or is just gross. And sometimes it's both. Anyway, I was just so impressed with PF Changs. They have a pretty extensive gluten free menu and you can even get desert (flourless chocolate dome). I had the spicy chicken, which was one of the best Chinese food meals I've had, gluten free or not. I even ordered a second entree to take home with me. I'm sure I looked like a pig. Oh well, I was excited. Anyway, the waitress said that there was a lawsuit filed by someone who was served non-gluten free food, so now the whole chain is really careful to keep the food gluten free. She pointed to the plate that my food was served on and she said that the gluten free food was only served on this specific type of plate with the PF Chang's logo on it. If it wasn't served on that type of plate, alert your server. They even said when they brought the food out "gluten free spicy chicken". It was the best restaurant experience I've had since going gluten free. I've found a new favorite!

Wow! Thanks for sharing. I will definitely have to try them then!

I had a similar experience there - and it made my day! The waiter was terrific about it and very respectful. I had the spicy chicken too and it was fantastic.

And I loved that they have dedicated plates for serving gluten free... I think they are square.

PF Changs is always a great place that gluten-free and nonGF people love.

I recently tried Fortune Wok in Kansas City! I forgot what they use, but they can make all the breaded dishes. It was amazing! The same price as PF Changs. My girlfriend like my food better than hers.

If you have hemorrhoids 1x weekly I don't see how you have time to heal from one episode before you experience another one, unless each one is a very minor event. Have you consulted a physician about your hemorrhoid issue? It's not normal to be having an episode every week unless it is really one episode that is not completely healing between weekly flareups.

No I haven't had one since 2021. I rarely have more than 1 per week.

Sorry, I see that now as I reread your original post. You say you have hemorrhoids "only once a week" now. When I develop hemorrhoids, which is once every few years now, it generally takes 3-4 days for healing to take place. So, it doesn't seem like you could have much relief time between episodes if you have them weekly. Have you had a lower GI scoping done recently?

Everyday I eat a medium to large apple in the morning and a large banana at night. I eat a cup of oatmeal in the evening. The ezekiel wheat bread I eat has a good amount of fiber. I haven't dealt with constipation for at least a year. Most of the time my feces are soft.
