Confused About Pots/pans/etc

Newbie here. I'm really confused about the post diagnosis pots/pans. I was under the impression I just had to replace the wooden utensils and cutting boards because the porous nature retained gluten. Is that right? Do I need to worry about my stainless steel pots or utensils? What about the coated pots/baking sheets and even my crockpot??

Thanks for any/all help!!!

You do NOT need to replace any stainless steel pots, pans or utensils. Just give them a thorough cleaning. What you will need to replace are any non stick pans that are scratched (gluten can hide in the scratches), cast iron is porous and gluten can contaminate it, worn plastic and wood utensils, toasters, basically anything that is worn and stratched ie cutting boards etc.. Your crockpot should be fine, just give it a good cleaning.

      Shingles is dormant and related to chicken pox when one has had in the past.Shingles comes out when stress is heightened.I had my 3rd Shingles in 2023.

      Oats naturally contain a protein called avenin, which is similar to the gluten proteins found in wheat, barley, and rye.
