Need A Doctor In Nashville

The Gi my doctor referred me to scheduled me for a scope of my esophagus and a ph monitor, but they called me the day before the procedure to say that my insurance doesn't cover the hospital he works in. Does anyone know of a doctor that practices at Centennial or another TriStar Hospital that is also familiar with celiac issues?

Thanks!

Maybe this will help you find one.

Here is a link to local (TN) celiac chapters, and their contact information. Our Denver Chapter lists physicians, dieticians, etc.

Thank you for the link. I have emailed someone from the group nearest where I need to go, so hopefully they'll be able to share some useful information.

I had found a website for a group in a nearby suburb earlier, but they didn't have any information about doctors on their site and my email to one of their contact members was not returned. <_<

Thanks again!

Going on a cruise next week and I’m a celiac. Bought a bottle of GliandinX. Should I just take two tablets per day as a precaution? Never tried this before!! Any help is appreciated!!

Good point, as thyroid conditions are more common in those with celiac disease: https://www.celiac.com/celiac-disease/celiac-disease-amp-related-diseases-and-disorders/thyroid-pancreatic-disorders-and-celiac-disease/
