Ok, I know I should have just ordered a drink and did my visiting without food but I was hungry.

I asked them about wheat and flour in their menu items and ended up just ordering the chips, guac, and rice. They said that they don't fry flour tortillas in the oil but I wasn't that comfortable about what they told me and am concerned. Has anyone ever eaten there before?

Ok, I know this thread is really old, but I thought I would comment in case others (like me) are looking for answers.

 

I asked at store #1 (the original location in San Jose), and they proudly assured me that everything is gluten free as long as I don't order something with a wheat-based tortilla.  However since then at other locations I've had employees assure me that "our tomato tortilla is different from our wheat tortilla; you should fine with that" (it contains wheat), and I know their fish tacos are breaded, the manager at that location said it is wheat-based.  So anything fried is suspect just based on the fish (ask the manager), and YMMV on just about everything else on the menu too.  Ask, don't assume.

      If you have hemorrhoids 1x weekly I don't see how you have time to heal from one episode before you experience another one, unless each one is a very minor event. Have you consulted a physician about your hemorrhoid issue? It's not normal to be having an episode every week unless it is really one episode that is not completely healing between weekly...

      No I haven't had one since 2021. I rarely have more than 1 per week.

      Sorry, I see that now as I reread your original post. You say you have hemorrhoids "only once a week" now. When I develop hemorrhoids, which is once every few years now, it generally takes 3-4 days for healing to take place. So, it doesn't seem like you could have much relief time between episodes if you have them weekly. Have you had a lower GI scoping done...

      Everyday I eat a medium to large apple in the morning and a large banana at night. I eat a cup of oatmeal in the evening. The ezekiel wheat bread I eat has a good amount of fiber. I haven't dealt with constipation for at least a year. Most of the time my feces are soft.
